About us

It was from humble beginnings on returning from war in 1920 that Arnold Laver used his savings to set up a timber merchant. Deliveries were made by handcart and within a year the business was doing well enough to purchase ‘Charlie’ the horse, who helped improve the delivery service.

The Family-Owned company prospered and diversified and in 1960 Laver Leisure was established at Sealands, the start of 13 parks and over 1,750 holiday homes located at Ingoldmells, near Skegness.

Our commitment to the region goes without saying and equally we feel our reputation, within the local community, has been fundamental in our success.

Our parks are well located with all enjoying direct access to the beach, so that people do not have to cross busy roads. Our team will also provide assistance to any tenants that may require pitches near to access ramps, so that they have easy entry to the beach and promenade – helping to ensure that everyone can take full advantage of the great views and sea-air.

We maintain a friendly family atmosphere on all our parks and we are proud to say that many of our home owners have been with us for a number of generations. Most of our Parks have a full-time residential warden, who – as previous owners themselves – understand fully the needs of our customers

Nigel

Head of Parks
Nigel is our Head of Parks and he has a wealth of experience in the holiday home sector. As well as being very ‘hands on’ and responsible for the day to day running of all of our Parks, Nigel manages all of our site services and facilities.

Nigel’s first responsibility is to ensure that our customers and visitors are happy and that all of the Parks run smoothly. From the sales and service of holiday homes through to the maintenance of the facilities, Nigel is tasked with delivering the first class service our customers have come to expect.

Holiday Home Sales

Teresa is the person to speak to if you are looking to buy or upgrade your Holiday Home. She has all the details of the homes and the plots available on our parks. Teresa will be able to advise on the ideal holiday home for you and your Family’s requirements. Nikki

Office Manager
Nikki is based in the Main Office at our Haven/Sealands Park and is responsible for managing the Customer Services and Administration team. She joined us last Season and is looking forward to meeting all our Owners over the Season

“The Laver Ladies”

Customer Service
The Laver Ladies are based in the Main Office, The Beach House at our Haven/Sealands Parks or at the Park Office on Golden Sands Holiday Park. They are typically the first point of contact for our holiday home owners. All of The Ladies are highly knowledgeable when it comes to providing assistance and guidance to our broad range of customers.

Helder

Assistant Head of Parks
Helder looks after customer requests, the organisation of our siting teams and ensures that all of our Parks run smoothly on a daily basis. Helder also oversees operations of The Sands Club, Bar & Bistro.

Paul

After-sales Manager
Paul has the important role of making sure that all of our customers are completely happy with not only the purchase they have made, but their day to day requirements, going forward. He therefore acts as part of our customer service and operations team, providing practical help and advice where required.
